Day 6 of the K'NEX Toy Giveaway is the Construction Crew Excavator Building Set (#1), and again, Ben went right to work. This toy is rated age 5+ and also comes with very small pieces. Again, use your judgement with this one. It was developmentally appropriate for Ben, who is 8 and will be really good for Samantha and Gracie whose brains thrive on puzzles and who need to work on their fine motor skills and hand eye coordination. The pieces are small enough to swallow, so keep that in mind for children who still put things in their mouth or siblings who are younger.
